TMEV NET is a startup company with a business model focused on electric vehicle (EV) charger interfaces. The company plans to solve the overheating issue of connectors/cables, which become increasingly hot and heavy during fast charging, through its self-developed cooling system. This cooling system minimizes electrical resistance, which hinders the flow of current in conductors, allowing more power to be transmitted with only 25% of the conductor usage compared to conventional cables. Additionally, it drastically reduces the weight and thickness of the cables while effectively controlling the heat generated during the charging process, thereby minimizing power loss.
TMEV NET has announced that it will address the critical issue of power loss during EV charging—an issue that is expected to gain more attention in the future—by leveraging its innovative solutions and technology.
The core business model of TMEV NET is its HPC (High Power Charger) cooling system for 'ultra-fast EV charger interfaces' with a capacity of over 350KW. This innovative technology can transmit more power with only 25% of the conductor usage in conventional cables, reducing cable thickness and weight by 50%, thereby enhancing user convenience and reducing charging losses.

TMEV NET is achieving various technological developments and results through the Innovation Startup Package. The company has developed a range of technologies, including cooling zone formation technology, compressed air control cooling technology, and power terminal material technology to improve electrical conductivity, with several patents already registered.
Additionally, TMEV NET is in the process of applying for patents for its unique technologies and know-how, such as the manufacturing method for EV connector/cable assemblies, the structure of cables with cooling zones, the structure and cooling method for connector housings with cooling zones, and the structure and manufacturing method of power terminals.
As a result of its technological developments, TMEV NET has created power terminals with 80% improved conductivity compared to conventional brass power terminals and conductors that are 30% lighter than existing EV charging cables. Furthermore, in collaboration with partners, the company has developed cable insulation materials that improve fire safety by 43% compared to existing EV charging cables. It is also accelerating its technological development by undergoing certification testing at the Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL) for IEC-62196-5 / IEC-62196-3 standards.
TMEV NETt is planning joint development projects in collaboration with large and mid-sized companies and has proposed a PoC (Proof of Concept) for Hyundai Motor Group's ultra-fast EV charging service E-pit. Additionally, it plans to conduct PoCs with SK Signet and collaborate with the Korea Automobile Research Institute on battery cooling system PoCs.
Hyungnam Cho, CEO of TMEV NET, stated, "The electric vehicle industry is one of the key sectors that continues to grow and evolve in modern society, and power loss during fast EV charging will become an increasingly important issue in the future."
He added, "Our business model is recognized as a crucial element in technological innovation and energy efficiency within the EV industry. We are positioning ourselves as a leading competitor in the next-generation EV charging infrastructure market. We are committed to continuous research and development to meet customer demands and expectations. Our business model will deliver value to customers by providing high-quality products and innovative solutions, supporting growth and success within the EV industry. Additionally, TMEV NET takes responsibility for environmental protection. Our technology enhances the eco-friendliness of electric vehicles and serves as a key solution for a sustainable future. We ask for your support and interest as we work towards creating a better future through TMEV NET's business model and technological capabilities."
