    IBK Industrial Bank announced that its startup incubation platform, IBK Changgong, will host the “IBK Changgong Silicon Valley Scale-up Program” from October 16 to 20.The IBK Changgong Silicon Valley Scale-up Program is a newly established short-term acceleration program, created in response to the overseas expansion needs of mid- to late-stage startups. It offers business development and investment attraction opportunities directly in Silicon Valley.

    IBK Changgong has selected eight companies with local market competitiveness and global growth potential, and will provide tailored support through the local network of the Silicon Valley Desk.

    The selected companies are:
    △MobileWithUs (embedded security solutions for vehicles△Seoul Dynamics (large EV trucks integrating autonomous and remote driving technologies)△Eoneus (mobile energy storage systems)△ThermoEye (thermal imaging vision solutions)
    △TMEVnet (EV thermal management solutions)△Viewgen (high-efficiency heat-blocking smart windows)△IndieJ (AI-based emotion-recognition music recommendations)△Mold (suspension components specialized for electric vehicles)


    IBK Changgong plans to offer various programs tailored to each company’s technology and market characteristics, including business matching with local partners and experts, mentoring for VC fundraising, and visits to local companies.

    In addition, IBK will collaborate with organizations such as KOTRA’s Silicon Valley Trade Center and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco to broadly support U.S. business expansion through open innovation programs, expert seminars by field, and investor networking opportunities.

    An IBK representative stated, “By deepening understanding of the U.S. market and building a global network, companies will be able to develop concrete strategies for overseas expansion and scale-up,” and added, “We plan to continue expanding the program through cooperation with various institutions.”
