With the growth of the electric vehicle (EV) industry, the evolution of charging infrastructure has emerged as a critical challenge.
TMEVnet is presenting a new paradigm in the ultra-fast charging sector by promoting “innovation beyond existing standards,” going beyond merely supplying hardware.
At CES 2025, TMEVnet received an Innovation Award, gaining recognition in the global market for its technological capabilities.
The company's core competitive edge lies in being the first in the industry to apply a "liquid evaporation–phase change" cooling technology to charging cables.
This technology dramatically resolves the issues of cable weight and heat generation compared to traditional air-cooling methods. It reduces the cable weight to under 10 kg and maintains ultra-low temperatures below -40℃, enhancing both safety and efficiency.
The CryoFlux PowerCable offers over 50% higher efficiency compared to existing technologies and enables megawatt (MW)-level charging.
TM EVNet’s cooling system minimizes power loss by reducing electrical resistance and decreases both the thickness and weight of the cable by more than 50%.
This advancement makes it possible to ultra-fast charge large-capacity battery mobility systems, including heavy-duty EVs, ships, and urban air mobility (UAM).
TM EVNet has been selected for Germany’s Mercedes-Benz startup program “Startup Autobahn,” and is currently conducting a Proof of Concept (PoC) project for megawatt charging in collaboration with Siemens and Mercedes-Benz.
In partnership with strategic investor KingoSpring, the company is enhancing its R&D and pushing for global expansion. It is also in talks to supply its technology to global clients including Tesla and Charging Solutions.
In addition, TMEVnet is expanding the application of its technology to various electrified mobility sectors, such as hydrogen charging stations and electric ships.
The company also prioritizes eco-friendliness, focusing on minimizing energy loss and extending battery life. Its cooling technology prevents overheating during charging, ensuring both safety and efficiency.
This year, TMEVnet was selected for the Deep-Tech TIPS program by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, receiving up to 1.5 billion KRW in R&D funding.
By going beyond simple charging cable manufacturing, TM EVNet is delivering on the three key values of charging speed, safety, and eco-friendliness—earning attention as an innovator in EV charging infrastructure across Europe, the U.S., and Asia.
