Cheonan City announced on the 12th that it has finalized the selection of the third cohort of “Cheonan Future Unicorn C-STAR,” which is expected to grow into a key player in the K-Startup hub. The city is promoting the Cheonan Future Unicorn C-STAR development project, which discovers and selects promising startups in collaboration with five local startup support organizations and provides tailored support. The 14 companies selected in the previous two cohorts last year achieved significant results, such as listing on KOSDAQ, by leading the local startup ecosystem with the city’s customized support. For the third cohort, 24 startups based on advanced technologies applied, and after evaluations by more than 10 startup support organizations and private investment institutions, 8 companies were finally selected. The city reaffirmed that the startup ecosystem in the Cheonan region has been further strengthened, as startups with excellent technological competitiveness and high growth potential in a short period of time applied for the program.
The 8 companies selected for the third cohort are: ▲G&T ▲Vision Innovation ▲AD System ▲Mithril ▲HUNIQ ▲TMEVnet ▲Rowane ▲DIGO Labs.
TMEVnet is a company that has developed an innovative ultra-fast charging system based on advanced thermal management technology, and is currently collaborating not only with domestic but also globally renowned electric vehicle manufacturers.
