TMEVNET, a startup developing next-generation ultra-fast EV charging solutions, has been awarded a CES 2025 Innovation Award in the Vehicle Tech & Advanced Mobility category.

The CES Innovation Awards honor companies shaping the future of the global tech industry with cutting-edge technology and groundbreaking products. TMEVNET earned the award for its CryoFlux PowerCable, an innovative solution that tackles the persistent issue of heat generation during EV charging.

The CryoFlux PowerCable is the industry’s first to implement liquid evaporation phase-change cooling technology, maintaining ultra-low temperatures inside the cable to minimize energy loss. This breakthrough drastically reduces the cable’s weight to under 10kg and resolves both overheating and bulkiness, enabling safe and efficient megawatt-level charging.

TMEVNET is a promising startup nurtured within the Cheonan-Asan Innopolis Special R&D Zone, with the Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH) serving as its key technology partner. Through a region-specific global expansion program supported by the zone, TMEVNET challenged for and secured the prestigious CES 2025 Innovation Award.

Following the award, TMEVNET plans to further enhance its technological capabilities through joint R&D with KATECH, while also conducting PoC (Proof of Concept) testing in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz and Siemens in Germany to validate CryoFlux performance in the European market.

“We are honored to be recognized at CES for our technology,” said Hyungnam Cho, CEO of TMEVNET. “With CryoFlux, we aim to redefine the standard for megawatt charging in the era of future mobility.”

Meanwhile, TMEVNET was recently selected for the Deep-Tech TIPS program in partnership with the Korea Automotive Technology Institute, securing up to KRW 1.5 billion in R&D funding. The company intends to leverage this support to further advance CryoFlux performance and strengthen its global competitiveness.
